With only a few short months until my return to Thailand, it got
me thinking once more about the place. I spoke to a female friend of mine
at the weekend who was telling me that she's been wearing a raincoat of
late despite the soaring heat. The reason being that it was the Songkran
festival on April 13th for 3 days to celebrate Thai New Year.
It's basically a nationwide water fight and nobody is immune from getting
a good soaking........
