I've spent this evening watching a BBC documentary on heavy metal in which I discovered that Rob Halford the lead singer in Judas Priest bats for our side. I've never been a fan of heavy metal and until now can't even recall seeing any shots of the band. I might have had a slight whiff of something had I done so before!How amusing then that it was Rob's inspiration that changed the image of the band by kitting them out in gear from a local bondage store and having an almost immediate impact on the dress and style of a generation of heavy metal fans.
