Google Trends allows you to input a search criteria and see the basic

demographic of those searching Google on a particular subject worldwide.

It doesn't list search criteria where insignificant numbers search - gay Korea

for example yielded no results for that reason.

What was interesting though was the following when 'gay porn' was input:

1.Thames Ditton, United Kingdom
2.Irvine, CA, USA
3.Dublin, Ireland
4.Sheffield, United Kingdom
5.Manchester, United Kingdom
6.Birmingham, United Kingdom
7.Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
8.Edinburgh, United Kingdom
9.Pleasanton, CA, USA
10.Sydney, Australia

This means that, out of all searches carried out on the term 'gay porn', the UK

has 6 cities in the top ten! We also have 5 cities in the top ten when 'porn' only

is input.

I find this incredible considering the relative size of the UK population. Is the UK

a country of voyeurs and perverts?

And where the hell is Thames Ditton? I think I might like it there!!!

Update: This is the leafy village of Thames Ditton located in rural West Surrey!
I wonder if the locals know that they top the perve charts?
